Hello family and friends,
I got miracles.  The first one is about a brother that wanted to get married on August 9. We had all the paperwork done except the certificate that said that he was never married. I have asked for those through the Internet and I was waiting for them but two days before the marriage I had to send someone to the office in person to get them. Later, she called me, letting me know that they didn't issue the one for him because apparently he had been married before under divorce was not registered. They told her that he needed to go to the little town where all that happened. Because of his job he couldn't go because it is a 2 day trip and he couldn't miss work. They are very strict. He missed the communal marriage. They keep going to church, but nothing could be done until we get the divorce paper. After all this time on Monday, I checked the emails from the office and finally I have gotten the certificate needed showing that he was single.  So he didn't have to go to that tiny town.  They're getting married on October 17.
The second miracle.  Since May, I have been trying to locate a birth certificate for a brother that was born in a little town called Puñun, in the mountains of Checras, Lima. Every time I tried, I had doors closed all over. I tried through the government, I tried through Facebook, I tried the City Hall, I tried the police department, and nothing, either they didn't answer or it will say the lines are broken. I tried other ways like transportation companies to go to that town. There were none. Last Saturday I tried again, because that family keeps assisting the church. And I found another email address. I wrote to them, hoping that somebody will answer me.  Monday when I was about to leave the office to go to the public records office I saw the answer to that email. That was my first surprise that someone was answering. He gave me a name and a phone number saying that maybe he might be able to help. Immediately, I sent him a WhatsApp message. A few minutes later, he answered me. He explained to me that he was on the coast of Lima, and that place was far from the City Hall that I was looking for. I asked him if he knew someone that could help us to get that birth certificate and I explained the reasons for. I had to leave, and when I came back, he had answered me and gave me a lady's name and a phone number and that she was the registration person in that city. Immediately, I wrote to her thinking that she would answer me the next day since it was already like 5:20 PM. But I didn't want to wait to write to her.  To my surprise, she answered me and said that she was looking for it.  10 minutes later, she sent me a picture of the birth certificate and the following day she scanned it correctly and sent me a PDF file.  I was so happy about the news that I wanted to tell everyone about it. And of course, I called the Sister that was waiting for that to happen. She was also so excited and they have chosen to get married on November 28.
It is amazing how the Lord works, everything has a time and a place, it is not when we want it. It is on the Lord's time.
Thursday, I was able to take five of the new Missionaries to start their paperwork in Interpol on migrations. When I finished with them, I had to go to the public records department, since it was a little bit far from where I was, I took a mini bus.  As you can see in the pictures, we had a special visitor on the bus. It was a rooster, a young rooster. The lady had just bought him and she was taking him home. She was so nice. She allowed me to take a picture.
Are you curious about the sauces from KFC? Well, I was so excited because I like the sauce that says Ocopa. When it was my turn to place the order I asked for that sauce, and they did not have it. Actually, they did not have any of the sauces that were in the picture. False advertisement I was upset about it, but nothing I can do.

We were so privileged to enjoy President Nelson as long as we did!  He was a remarkable person and Profet

Buenas noches querida familia y amigos,
Can you believe that returning to the office from one of my errands, I found the Aloe plant in the garbage. I was sooo sad that I couldn't pick it up and take it with me, because I couldn't put it anywhere, no yard at all.  And I saw that it was in great shape. So sad!
Monday was a sad day Elder Evans left to finish his mission proselyting instead of at the office.  We have shared the office and he has taught me so much during the 6 months that I have been in the office.  And Monday was exactly 6 months anniversary for me.  
Wednesday again I had to accompany 2 missionaries to the airport, one Peruvian and Elder Mediavilla from Ecuador.  He was also a little bit over 4 months in the office.  And he left to go home.  He finished his mission.  
That day also a couple got married.  This wedding was a miracle, because he is the fisherman that is only on land a few days every 2 or 3 weeks, sometimes more.  So we had to do all the paperwork like if they were going to get married on Tuesday last week.  And as soon as he was in land, marry them and baptize him.  So it was done. His wife was soo happy.  It's funny they laugh and smile after the pictures. But for the pictures they are so serious.
Saturday we were able to have some exercise class at church and then prepare some healthy breakfast with Oatmeal, lots of different seeds, fresh fruit, yogurt and almond milk.  It was actually very good.  After all that exercise I went to the Market and to the grocery store after.  I also volunteered to buy the yarn to make the chals for the sisters that wanted to learn crochet.  It was a busy morning, to the extreme that twice that afternoon I ended up falling asleep.
Sunday we had our church meeting and in the afternoon the office meeting.

May 12
I thought it was going to be an easy day. I just needed to meet 2 couples at the posta, but I ended up meeting three couples. I had to go first to the Teatro Municipal, the municipalidad, then the posta. Also, while I was at the posta, elder Nye, and the technician from the internet called they were about to install the service at his apartment, but they needed to have my physical ID because it was being installed under my name since they don't have their carnet de extranjeria just yet. I went for nothing because still they couldn't install it due to some account problem with the previous person that was living there. Apparently that person owes money and who knows where that person is. After that, I went back to the Posta, and then ran other errands that I needed to do. It was a busy day, a lot of running around.

May 13
Today I took Sister Nye, to Interpol and MAC, for her biometrics. Then we had to go to the newspaper, we had lunch and finally we went back to the office. It was not as bad as the day before.

May 14
Finally, I didn't go anywhere today. I was able to just work in the office trying to get in touch with the parents for the Missionaries that will be going home at the end of July. God is going to be a very sad time almost all the missionaries that have been working in the office are leaving on July 30.

May 15
Today was a crazy day. Since before I arrived at the mission, the office has been requesting a big printer because we do print a lot. Finally 10 days ago a printer arrived. Two days later, the technician came to install it. He couldn't install it because it didn't come with a toner. Monday they sent us a loaner. Finally yesterday they told us that today at 9 o'clock. It was going to be installed. It was 11:30 in the morning and nobody had showed up or called about the printer. I started calling and complaining and I was so upset. Finally, they said they would send somebody at 3 o'clock. The guy contacted me at 3:09 PM and said he was running late because he hadn't finished his job, but he will be there between 4:00 and 4:30 PM. He finally showed up at 4:35. He was there until 7:30 in the evening. Finally, the printer is working, but the scanner is not and I use the scanner a lot. Not only that, they install the loaner without any warranty if there is a power search because we don't have the correct electrical wire in there. There is no ground outlet and the company won't be responsible if something happens. Tomorrow, one of the technicians from the church will have to go at 7:15 in the morning to check all the electric problems and see if he can connect the scanner. He has to go that early because I can only be there until 10 AM since I am going to the wedding. I got home finally and they needed to put something in my apartment earlier so I gave the keys to the Missionaries and when they closed, they locked the top part that has a bar behind that I don't use and they put that and I had such a terrible time trying to open my door. I'm telling you it's been such a day. After fighting for a while, it finally opened. 

May 16
One of the couples that I was working with, got married and I was able to be there.  Also the bride and her daughter got baptized.  He was already a member.

May 17
The Relief Society organized another walk and it was very good to go and walk with them. We started at 6:45 am and finished at 7:45.  I went with the RS president to the Mercado and it was great.  I end up buying some fruit and a plant.  All afternoon I was at the house, it was nice to just crochet.  Technicians were installing the A/C in the apartment above where another missionary senior couple will be living.  And the electricity was not connected yet, so they had an extension cord to my apartment.  Later on I went to the office to eat with the missionaries, they ordered food from another restaurant.  

May 18 
I left church a bit earlier to be able to go to another baptism in another chapel, it was awesome, the couple that I helped get married got baptized. Their 2 children 12 and 10 years old were already baptized.  It was the parents' turn.

Today, I was busy all day at the office with lots of paperwork and trying to finalize details for Missionaries that are leaving tomorrow.  We also have the last dinner for the two that are leaving. They are from Bolivia. This transfer is only a five week transfer, usually six weeks. But the president and his wife have an area meeting in Lima and it conflicts with the transfers. So they had to change it. But the missionaries that are leaving tomorrow are only on a four week transfer because of the training that they have before they're being released. After the dinner, the two of them share their testimony and so far they have been the best. Also today another couple that I have helped got married and her and their 2 children got baptized.  So wonderful.

I was gonna take the elders to the airport, but there were Missionaries that were able to do it so I didn't have to go to the airport. 

Apr 23
Ahhhhh did I tell you I make mistakes and when I make them, they have to be big. So the Missionaries that left yesterday had to take their connection from Lima to Santa Cruz at 1:00 AM. Arriving around 4:15 a.m.  Someone from the PIA training had to go and pick them up. But guess what? I didn't send the itinerary to the president that I was supposed to send them to. And on Monday night, I was talking to him, asking him for permission for one of those elders to receive a friend that he grew up with but move out of the city where he lives now. Neither one of us remember to check that I didn't send them the itineraries. So we guess what? This morning I'm getting texts from them at 3:54 AM. Finally, they called me at 5:15 AM because I didn't check the messages. After they told me that no one was there to pick them up immediately I called the president that I was talking to the night before and we realized that I had not sent the information needed. He had to contact Bolivia and two hours later. Finally they were picked up and dropped at the hotel. The PIA doesn't start until Thursday, so that's good that they had the whole day to rest. I was so upset with myself for forgetting something so important. It affected me more as a mother and a grandmother than as a secretary. As a secretary I can make mistakes, and I know that as a mother and grandmother too. But it is harder to accept. Because I wouldn't want to leave my children or grandchildren in that situation. 
I checked with the archive office over the email for 3 birth certificates. They told me that they had the books for two of them. When I arrived and they checked, none of them were there. I end up sending two of the elders from the office to the town where one sister was born to get the birth certificate. They called me from there to let me know that there is some mistake in the ID document that she has been using all her life with the birth certificate. There is one letter different. I will see what will happen if they accept it or not.

Apr 24
All morning I was busy, finishing with all the paperwork for the files that I was taking to the Municipalidad. I took 3 more files for marriages. And the one that was with the error, she said that I can bring it but it will be based on her ID and not on the birth certificate, and that is ok, because that is what the sister wanted anyway.  I also requested 3 more  analysis certificates.  I did all the errand that needed to be done to file those documents.

Apr 25
This morning I went to the Posta Medica, like the county health department in miniature.  I took the analysis of 7 couples and the doctor did not want to sign the certificate for the marriage that we need.  He wanted to talk to each couple and most of them are not from the area, I even have one couple that is coming from another state. So I went back to see the lawyer from the Municipalidad, and she called someone else.  So on Monday I have to do more errands and hopefully we can take care of this.  Today there was going to be another wedding and the Municipalidad had trouble with their system so they had to reschedule. 

Apr 26 
I had to do the grocery shopping that I don't like, buy milk, yogurt and juice, besides other things.  But those 3 are very heavy, it is not fun to go up 3 flights of stairs with all the heavy bags. Thank Goodness I don't do it every week. I also was able to get some walnuts so I can bake some cookies.  I love it with walnuts and the elders in the office too.

Apr 27
The class today at church was very good, it was about service, and they asked me to share my mission call.  It was very emotional. I went home and was boiling some noodles when the gas tank got empty. Thank goodness they also gave me an electric 2 burner stove and I was able to finish my meal.  I also wanted to make the cookies, but no gas, no oven.  Then I decided to still make it and bake them in the electric small oven.  Of course it took me several hours but I made it, and the missionaries at the office will be very happy. They were tissing me because I have not done it for a while.  I guess I already spoiled them. This is good, because today they get their call to see if they are being transferred from the area where they are.  Only one of the Elders in the office is affected.

Preach my Gospel:  God has given you talents and gifts to use in His service. Your talents and gifts are different from those of others. Recognize that all of these are important, including those that are less visible. As you consecrate your talents and gifts to Him, He will magnify them and work miracles with what you offer.

Hello family and friends:
First of all, I want to thank all of you that send me a few notes here and there.  I really appreciate that.  It is nice to hear from you.
Monday, it's kind of quiet today. It's the p day for the elders. There are some days that they stay in the office but today they came back late in the afternoon.
Tuesday was a completely different day.  I was busy at the office and I needed to do a lot of paperwork. And the printer didn't work, especially when trying to print the IDs. And I don't know if it was the printer or my computer. Hopefully tomorrow someone will come to try to see what the problem is. For days I have not been able to cancel some IDs for the Missionaries that left. Yesterday and today I was trying to make appointments to do the biometrics for a couple of Missionaries and again it was not working. I was praying and praying to get those appointments done, because one of the elders is coming from Tumbes and He has to travel all night.  So I don't want him to come twice, but I couldn't make the appointment. All morning I kept praying and finally I had the idea of using another computer. I asked one of the elders in the office to borrow their computer for a few minutes and finally it worked. So I don't know if my computer has been banned by the Migration office or if it just needs to be cleaned. And I have tried to do it, but apparently it did not clear everything so hopefully tomorrow the tech will come to help. 
 I took an American sister and a Bolivian Elder to Interpol and migrations. Thank goodness everything worked out fine this time no mess up at the airport with their documents. On the way back home, I stopped at the bakery and got a chart pie and tiny chicken empanadas. The office today had a lot of elders coming in and out. There was a lot of noise today, but it was fun to see so many of them more casually. And Yeahhhh! The Technician came and cleaned my computer.  Now it works great.
President and his wife took me to lunch and it was so nice. It was also considered my interview and we went to a restaurant a block from the office and I was able to get seafood, so good. 
Friday was a wonderful, busy and crazy day all at the same time.  To start I was told I needed to get a missionary home today because of health issues.  And I only had 45 minutes to get all the requests necessary and approvals before I had to leave for a wedding that was going to be at 10 at the city hall theater. And I also needed to finish the paperwork for another wedding file.  I was able to manage that and left taking 3 files for the communal wedding in May.  While I was going, I started to get texts from missionaries needing some information from me. President gave me last minute instructions, and the office in Lima also needed more things for the trip.  While we were at the wedding I had to text several people.  And then finish working with the lawyer that performed the ceremony because she is the one that is planning the communal marriage.  Her goal is 40 weddings.  I had to go and pay for the files that I took. It was 10 blocks from the theater, good work exercise.  I went back to the office and continued with all the calls, questions, forms……… It is unbelievable how the mantle of being set apart can help.  You know I am not 40 or even 50 years old, but I have been able to get answers, and help missionaries and couples, and I keep helping them with questions about documents and paperwork that needs to be filed so the couples can get married. And sometimes it is a little bit calm and quiet and all of a sudden everyone is calling or texting at the same time and I am able to pay attention, remember or find the answers on the tip of my fingers.  It is amazing. And for that I am so thankful to the Lord.
I ran out of Honey, so I had to go to Catacaos to buy some.  And since I was going there I took some documents to the Zone Leader Elders in that area.  They are very involved in getting people married also.  And they have been very helpful to me too.  Because they started this project before I started.  
Sunday church meeting was awesome, 2 of the Elders from the office, Finance Secretary and Referal/Supplies Secretary they talked and their message were super. I had tears in my eyes.
Today was also the Relief Society President and she invited just 8 of us to celebrate with her at her house.  It was very special.  I will probably send pictures next week.  She has to send us the pics.

Dear Family and Friends,

This time I have to apologize, because I have not kept my journal and this will be very short. This week has been busy, and also yesterday and today, with conferences and trying to work on the calendar for interviews.  It is not easy to have to deal with the schedule for so many people.  So far this coming week there are 45 interviews that the President and his wife have to do.  And something similar the following week.  My head is spinning with so many names, and times.
I was able to take 2 more files to the City Hall for marriage.  And I had to walk a lot, to go from the place where I leave the documents to where I have to pay for that.
We had to say goodbye to 4 missionaries this week, 1 from Ecuador, 2 from Bolivia and 1 Peruvian.  The Peruvian had to go back home due to health problems.  That was sad.  And the other 3 finished their mission.   In the picture where I am at the airport, I looked like I am 400 lbs. 😬  Looks like but I am not.  I might have gained a couple of kilos or 4 lbs. But I looked soooo biggg because I was wearing very loose clothes. 1 because I am on a mission and 2 because of the heat, and having the cloth loose it helps a lot.  
We had a Multizona Conference on Friday.  It is amazing to see how 18 to 21 year old young men and women behave and show their leadership.  How they organize, are in charge of all the activities and lessons and how they delegate assignments. 
The messages from the General Conference were amazing. And all the new Temples, wonderful.  Lima will have another Temple and Spanish Fork will too.
Ok I have to say good bye early, I am tired.  Until next week.

Hello family and friends,

I was able to go to the Registro Provincial de Piura, where they have the old records of some towns until 1996.  I was able to get one out of 5, and the one that I found was the hardest to find.  
Tuesday was one of the long days. We had to be at one of the Stake Centers at 7 am for Missionary transfers. Then I had to go to migrations. Then, I had to go to the airport to drop one of the elders that was going home.  After that I went back to the office again and at 6 o'clock in the evening we had to be at the mission home for the last supper for the Missionaries going home the next day. After the dinner, there's always a testimony meeting and I like to stay and hear their testimonies so by the time that I got home, it was 9:30 PM.
Wednesday, I had to go to the airport. This time I met with five Missionaries that were going home and then we waited for nine Missionaries to come. We have one sister missionary from the US, one elder from Ecuador and one Elder from Bolivia the other five Missionaries are from Peru. We had lunch at the mission home and interviews with the president. The lady at the hotel where they were going to stay, called me because they had a group that was staying there and they were leaving the same day. But because there have been some mud slots, some roads are not open and the group couldn't go home so they were staying longer. Thank goodness, they have a Sister hotel a little bit farther than the one that we take the Missionaries to, but they were so wonderful and said that they will take them there and then they will bring them back in the morning.
On Thursday, the secretaries, we had to present ourselves and what we do, to the new Missionaries. We use slides to help.
President and his wife had to travel to another state, Tumbes, where he had to have multizona and interview with the missionaries in that area, so I had to be sure to have the hotel confirmed for his arrival.  I started to fill out the forms that the Municipalidad de Piura has given me for the marriages.  A 5-paper document for each couple. My poor arthritis is going to be affected.  At 7 p.m. I went to the relief society president's house. We were going to a restaurant to have rotisserie chicken. It was an activity of friendship of the Relief Society.  We were 17 in total.  I still cannot believe how the restaurants are always packed and with big groups. We had fun there.
Saturday, I decided to walk more. So for lunch I went to get some food. I did find a place where they have MENU, a set meal of the day, in this case it was papa a la huancaina, chicken and rice with sausage and a pineapple sauce and juice.  The good thing about the menu is that it is very inexpensive: 11 soles, 3 dollars.  I will put a picture of it. The Open Plaza Mall, where the supermarket is, to get my groceries was closed for like 4 days already.  Apparently, some of the rain has affected the building's structure and needs to be fixed so they had to close the Plaza. By the time I got home with my groceries in a Moto taxi, it seemed that I had washed my hair and not dried it.  
A nice quiet Sunday, no office meeting. I Got home after church, made myself some food and then took a nap. 
Then 7 pm and I had to help renew a DNI (ID document) on the internet for a sister that is in Tumbes (another state), and she needs that document to get married.  Lots of people were involved to do that.  The Bishop let them use his cell phone to be able to download the necessary app to take the picture. The 2 Elders helped them with the technology and took the picture. I was having issues paying for it because my password for the payment option was at the office, and not in my laptop.  So, I had to call the financial secretary and thank goodness he was at the office and he was able to use my computer and got into it and we paid it.  Once we did that, I was able to finalize the transaction on my laptop. That was crazy. 2 states, and 6 people involved.

Dear family and friends,

Talk about obstacles! I had to make appointments for Interpol and Migrations, and I still make mistakes because in the Interpol calendar they start with Monday. I needed to make the appointment for Tuesday, and made the mistake of making it for Wednesday, and the Elder cannot go, because there is a Zone training that he needs to attend. Interpol doesn't change or cancel their appointments and we have to pay again for the appointment.  In the end he never went to Interpol, because when he came into the Country at the airport the person that entered his information in the computer made a mistake and put tourist instead of religious. And I found out all this when I took the sister missionary to do the Interpol and Migrations on Tuesday.  Interpol was fine with her. In Migrations trying to do the biometrics for the carnet de extranjeria, they said that she couldn't because the visa she had did not qualify for it.  That she had a temporary religious visa and that she needed to make a change of migration type.  Since I had the paperwork of the Elder I showed them and they said that this was not good either.  
I got back to the office and checked other previous ones and hers looked good, his does have a problem.  I asked the person in charge in Lima, she is on vacation, but answered me and said that nothing was wrong with her documents, they were wrong, and either go back and let them know or go to another office.  I asked so many people, I was so down.  I guess I have to pray a lot and figure out what to do.
We had Zone capacitation today, it's amazing to see the youth teach themselves. It was from 9 o'clock until after 12 noon. I missed being in the picture because I needed to leave a few minutes earlier. I had a lot of work to be done in the office. I'm working with like 22 couples. And some of them were already texting me and requesting my help.
Finally, today, I had very good news. One of the couples that I've been working with was able to enter their paperwork into the City Hall to be able to get married. The announcement of their wedding will come out tomorrow in the newspaper and it has to run for eight days. After that, it will take up to a month for all the papers to be reviewed and finally issued the marriage license and then they can get married.
Also today Wednesday was raining a lot for maybe an hour and a half but it caused a lot of flooding. I ended up leaving around 6:45 PM from the office because there was still light and I didn't wanna step into puddles. But I had to keep working at home until like 10 PM. 
Wowww Thursday I start the day with one of the neighbors, yelling and screaming and crying. Some of the words are understandable but others I couldn't understand what she's saying and it's not the first time she is very very loud.
I have been trying to help some couples and all of the ones I talked to, it was problem after problem..  And we were trying to update and see what else they needed. We ended up paying for some fees that a brother owed so he can get the rest of the papers done. And the sister was going to come the next day to fill out other papers that they need, but instead she called me to tell me that she talked to her husband the night before, and that he wants to have a big party and that they want to save for their wedding to have it done in December and they will refund me the money that we spent. Well she promised she will pay it back that day and it has been 3 days and no payment back yet.  So sad.
The Elders in one of the areas that are not so close to the office sent me some documents so I can add the pictures and send them to get the Certificate of being single.  I am praying that will work, because they could not scan them back to me, they were only able to take pictures and it is not the same, but they are sent and we will hope that it works.
Thank Goodness for the Relief Society and the activities that they just planned in a week.  We celebrated Women's Day and part of the Relief Society Anniversary.  We started with 3 games, we were laughing so much.  Continue with Karaoke, food (potluck) and finish with dancing.  We were 16 sisters, it was soooo goood!  Being able to decompress and relax, and throw away some stress. 
Saturday afternoon I was at home, when big noises started. The city is fixing the street in my corner.  They worked for like 3 hours.  They ripped a lot of the asphalt.
Before I left for church today Sunday, the city workers were back working more today on the street.  Hopefully they can finish all that soon.
I have been interviewed to be a teacher in the Relief Society on the 4th Sundays. I will be set apart next week. 😬

We have trials to face because our Heavenly Father loves us. His purpose is to help us qualify for the blessing of living with Him and His Son, Jesus Christ, forever in glory and in families. To qualify for that gift, we had to receive a mortal body. With that mortality we understood that we would be tested by temptations and by difficulties.

Hello Family and Friends:

Monday, I went to bed late last night and I woke up so early because I needed to start reading about marriages performed in Utah county for people all over the world, using Zoom. The certificate is easy to get and not that expensive but the person that will perform the service is the one that is costing much more plus sending the certificate overseas. I was able to talk to a person from Utah that might be willing to help us with the Zoom weddings. Unfortunately, he found out that the license to authorize a person to be an officiant it's only for the state of Utah. He was gonna try to do some more research because on the same page for Utah county there are some officiators that can perform international weddings. The biggest problem is that they charge a lot of money and the people here don't have it.
The ignition button on the stove, because it's a gas stove got stuck and a technician came to fix it. Also, an electrician came at the same time to fix the lights on the spare bedroom and the hallway on the stairs. One more person came who delivered 5 gallon water, and he brought it all the way to the third floor. I had to go home at 3 PM so all these people could arrive and work. There was only one little problem. I had to go up and down the stairs of a three-story building 15 times. Because there is a gate on the first floor and I have to open the gate every time they need to go out or come in. And two technicians had to go and get parts at different times. I guess my cuffs are getting stronger. 
4 more of the missionaries that arrived on Jan 1, were able to get Interpol and Biometrics done this week. We are finally caught up. There are only two left to do their paperwork and they are the ones that arrived on February 12. This is awesome.
I have been more involved with the couples that want to get married. Two sisters have come to fill out some paperwork to get the certificate of being single. For these documents, they need to have a picture fingerprint and signature. It takes a week to process and get a result. Two of the ones that I have processed are a little bit complicated. One is for a sister that got married and then he passed away. She never changed her ID to say she is married or a widow. In order for her to get married this time the ID needs to say widow. I was able to find the death certificate of her previous husband, after battling with the program for two days. Because the first time I tried it, I found it, but I didn't have all the information so I had to get out of there and when I went to finally do it, it kept saying that it was not there and apparently the system had issues. What we are not able to find is the marriage certificate. I don't know the circumstances of why she got married to this person because she doesn't even know when she was married. So we're trying to get a certificate of being single and by the end of next week we should know if it worked, and if she was ever married. 
And the other person, he is from Venezuela and he has a carnet de extranjeria, so we don't know if we will be able to get that certificate, because that certificate usually is provided by the same city hall of where the person was born. 
I had to meet one of the missionaries at the airport, he went home to have some surgery and he should be back, hopefully no later than three weeks. 
Today, Sunday, the Elders and I were invited to lunch at the Relief Society President. Usually they only go, this time she also invited me.  The food was very good, and she had bought a 3 leches cake and it was delicious.
Nite, nite, it is time to bed.

Alma 34: 27 Yea, and when you do not cry unto the Lord, let your hearts be full, drawn out in prayer unto him continually for your welfare, and also for the welfare of those who are around you.
Prayer should be such an important part in our lives.  The Elders pray every time they are going to go out, even if they just arrived and they have to leave again, and I am also doing it.
